Asking prices are a starting bid, not a number.
A listing says a 3 BHK goes for ₹85,000. You tour it, you negotiate blind, you have no idea whether ₹70,000 is a steal or a stretch — because the only people who know are the residents already living there, and nobody ever asks them.
Maintenance gets hidden until you call. Deposit norms are folklore. Floor-band and furnishing premiums are whatever the broker can get away with. The information exists — it's just locked inside the building.
Residents already know. We just collect it.
One resident's rent is an anecdote. A few hundred, gathered carefully, become a median you can plan around. So we built the lightest possible way to contribute — a sixty-second, anonymous-by-default report — and turn those reports into a rent, maintenance, and deposit picture for each society, stamped with how many people said it and how recently.
Today that's 607 reports across 38 societies in 11 Bengaluru localities — and growing every week.
